ARTIST STATEMENT
“Great, an Even Smaller Apocalypse” is a reflection on the series of works “Farewell to Romanticism”, “Gold Art”, “House for Every Polish Bird” and others. It was created as a result of my favourite practice to draw inspiration from already existing works commenting on the surrounding reality. The work was made for this year’s edition of the “It Was, It Is and It Will Be” symposium, subtitled “Beautiful Times”.
