(b. 1979, Wrocław, Poland)
He studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. At present, he heads the Art Foundry at his alma mater. He earned a PhD degree in fine arts in 2012 and became an associate professor in 2019. Staszczak builds furnaces and casts his sculptures in aluminium, bronze or iron. He experiments with 3D printing as well. He runs mould making workshops and metal pours. He is one of the founders and organisers of the Festival of High Temperatures. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions and his works are in public and private collections.
