In the years 2005–2010, he studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. Painting and sculpture are his basic means of artistic expression. Since his graduation in 2010, he has created a number of works as part of original artistic projects: he has had 11 individual exhibitions and taken part in a few dozen group exhibitions. In his strictly figurative works the artist uses simple forms, symbols, archetypes and motifs related to culture, finding for them new appropriate contexts. He lives and works in Wrocław.
ARTIST STATEMENT
What interests me most in the work of art is its potential of giving people relief. Art should make life easier, but it does not mean that its forms must be pleasant, nice and peaceful.
