Grażyna Jaskierska-Albrzykowska is a graduate of the PWSSP (currently Academy of Fine Arts) in Wrocław, completed her diploma in sculpture under the supervision of prof. Leon Podsiadły in 1988. In the same year she was employed at her alma mater. In 2012, she was awarded the title of Professor of Fine Arts. She was the organizer and curator of several dozen sculpture exhibitions. She has several individual exhibitions and over 180 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her art works have been presented in 82 catalogs, including four monographic publications.
In her artistic activity, Grażyna Jaskierska-Albrzykowska refers to spatial phenomena: sculpture, installation, drawing, photography. They contain a comment on her feelings towards the existence (duration of various memories) of memories. It is a reaction to reality and an attempt to understand the current time in a social context, in which she comments on the space with cycles of sculptures: “Connectors”, “Mass”, “Sources of pure water”, “Portfolio”.
