ARTIST STATEMENT
In Kosowski’s artistic explorations, two trends can be distinguished, the common denominator of which is the issue of time and passing. On the one hand, it is shown through the activities on the borderline of ephemeral art, where he treats the processes of destruction as creative values, which are the beginning, not the end. On the other hand, the artist creates projects characterized by sculptural craftsmanship related to the processing of materials such as stone or wood. The artist’s credo is the words of Nicholas McMaster, “Build from worthless, save what is valuable”.
